Millennium Tower: The Latest on Boston’s Most Exciting Residential Development
The record breaking snowfall this winter has barely slowed construction and sales for Millennium Tower at One Franklin Street in Downtown Crossing. About a month ago, construction of the 60-story luxury building reached the 20th floor, and in February, the swimming pool was installed. The building is now visible from Boston common and more than 500 of the 7,900 glass panels have been installed.
Millennium Tower Luxury Residences 70 Percent Sold
Though the building’s completion isn’t scheduled until the summer of 2016, 70 percent of Millennium Tower’s 442 luxury condos had been sold by early March. 150 of the luxury residences were under contract even before the sales office opened last fall, and the pace has not slowed. All of the one bedroom condos priced at less than $1,000,000 have been sold. 75 percent of sales so far have been to local buyers of all age groups and professions, most of whom will consider Millennium Tower their primary residence. The remaining units range from $1.15 million to $37.5 million.
Boston Luxury Living at its Finest
The unit amenities and features at Millennium Tower take luxury living in Boston to a whole new level. Take, for example, unit 5505, a spectacular corner residence listed at $6,825,000 with views of Boston Common and the Charles River. The luxury condo includes three bedrooms and four and a half baths. Each bedroom has an en suite bath and the master has two baths – one with a shower, and the other with both a shower and soaking tub. The master bedroom also offers large his-and-her walk-in closets. Other features include a state-of-the-art communication system, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, wide-plank oak flooring, and a gorgeous luxury kitchen with glossy white Poggenpohl cabinets, counters made of polished Italian Calacatta marble, and Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances.
Millennium Tower Building Amenities
What’s more, the Millennium Tower building amenities are second to none. The luxury building will offer a doorman, 24-hour concierge, and underground parking. The building will also include a two-story clubhouse with a library, screening room, billiard room, children’s playroom, and spa. The clubhouse will feature a lounge offering private dining and a bar as well as a spacious outdoor terrace with a fire pit. Residents will also have access to a 75-foot lap pool and the largest residential-only fitness center in Boston.
