Charlestown
Located on the north side of the city, on the banks of Boston Harbor and the Mystic River, Charlestown is home to some of Boston’s most recognizable landmarks. With the Bunker Hill monument, U.S.S. Constitution, and the Navy Yard there are plenty of sights to see while strolling through Charlestown’s gas lamp-lined streets.
Charlestown has two very distinct types of architecture. Along Main Street, you will find traditional town homes and brownstones, but as you make your way to the Navy Yard, you’ll be surrounded by new luxury developments containing all of the most-coveted amenities as well as some of the most amazing city views you will find anywhere.
A short walk or drive over the Charlestown Bridge will lead you directly into the North End. Being this close and having plenty of public transportation makes Charlestown very popular with those who work within the city.
