Cambridge
A suburb of Boston located just to the north across the Charles River, many mistakenly think of Cambridge as part of Boston. Cambridge itself has many neighborhoods with their own unique characteristics, and its population actually makes it the fifth largest city in Massachusetts.
Cambridge is known for two prominent universities, Harvard and MIT. With a population of such highly educated residents, Cambridge is home to many biotech and information technology companies.
Cambridge is fondly referred to as the “City of Squares” by some due to the main intersections in its commercial district being known as squares. These include Kendall, Central, Harvard, Porter, and Inman. Most of the squares have their own unique atmosphere and are home to many of the area’s finest restaurants. The real estate around the squares is highly desired because of its access to entertainment and public transportation.
