About Mia Simonsen
Prior to joining BHHS Warren Residential, Mia worked at Goldman Sachs, NHK News, the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. From this varied experience in finance, economics and communications, she has developed an exceptional approach to customer service and is excited to bring these traits into her real estate business.
Mia has a master's degree in international economics from Sophia University in Tokyo and a B.A. degree in economics from Tufts University. She also completed post-graduate Japanese language studies at Keio University in Tokyo. She has an international background, having lived in Europe and Asia, and is fluent in Japanese and proficient in French. She has first-hand experience living as an expat overseas and is well versed in the relocation process.
Based in Connecticut, Mia is very active in the Greenwich community serving on several local boards. Prior to moving to Connecticut with her family, Mia lived and worked in Boston for over 17 years. She is familiar with the local public and private schools in Boston and neighboring suburbs. When she is not working, she enjoys practicing yoga, playing the piano and traveling.
Mia holds real-estate licenses in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York, is a member of The National Association of Realtors, the Greenwich Association of Realtors (GAR, GMLS), the SMART, MLS Property Information Network (PIN), Greenwich (FLEX), Hudson Gateway (HGAR) Multiple Listing Services.
