What inspired you to pursue a career in real estate?
As a kid growing up in San Diego, my Mom and I would drive around and look at nice houses in town. She ran a homeless teen shelter and at a young age, I realized the importance of having a home through meeting those that do not. As an adult, I started to become familiar with the many ways to build wealth through real estate. I still get excited the first time I go and look at a home. It's fun to dream of the possibilities it can provide for my clients.
What's one piece of advice you'd give to someone looking to buy or sell a property in today's market?
For home buyers, I would say be willing to look at properties with features that you would consider to be deal breakers. Sometimes the things you thought were off-limits turn out to be perfectly fine when you're in the home.
Tell us a real estate "success" story that you are especially proud of.
I'm proud to have listened to and learned from, each and every one of my clients. They are the real teachers in this industry.
