This month, we would like to introduce you to Carol Korbman! Carol has won many awards over the years - most recently being named part of the Leading Edge Society for 2023 for all of BHHS. Take a moment to learn more about her:

Can you share an example of how you've gone above and beyond for a client?

I am very proud to say that, despite the crazy real estate rollercoaster last year, I helped many clients buy their dream homes. Two separate first-time buyers I assisted were diving into new developments. We had to play the waiting game - pushing back closing by a few weeks for one and a few months for the other due to construction delays. Dealing with their frustrations, I kept it cool, and we're still tight. Super happy to have them as past clients, and I'm looking forward to helping them out again when they're ready for their next move in a few years!

What's one piece of advice you'd give to someone looking to buy or sell a property in today's market?

Marry the house, date the rate. Now is always a good time to buy. You will always look back and say, "I wish I would have bought earlier."

What is the strangest thing that has happened to you in real estate?

Back in 2001, I sold my condo, the place where my kids were born - before I became a real estate agent. Then, in 2017, I assisted a young couple in buying that exact property as their agent. It felt strange showing them around the place and remembering all the upgrades I had made when it was my own.

If you weren't working in real estate, what other profession would you be interested in and why?

An attorney... I am very good at negotiating!

When you're not working, what are some of your favorite hobbies or activities?

I like exercising, playing Mah Jongg, and volunteering with a variety of organizations around Boston.
