The North End is a neighborhood located in north Boston, MA. The area is Boston’s Little Italy, and is a maze of beautiful narrow streets that feature some of the city’s oldest buildings.
Boston’s North End has the distinction of being the city's oldest residential community. Traditionally the first stop for new immigrants arriving in Boston, the North End is now home to many young professionals and an energetic Italian community.
The North Ends is within walking distance of both the Financial District and the Waterfront area and is very well served by public transport. The area is home to the Haymarket and North Station stops on the Green and Orange Lines respectively, as well as The Aquarium stop on the Blue Line.
